Lachlan's Play Date

Lachlan and Luke had their very own play date at Luke's house (Lachlan is on the right!)

Sleepy boy

So I sat him up and came back a couple of minutes later and he was like this:

Couch

I sat Lachlan on the couch and when I came back, he was like this:

Boots

Isabella wore her gum boots and pyjamas when checking the letter box yesterday.

Haircut

I gave Isabella's hair a trim, but I may have trimmed it a little short. But since she's just one, it can still look cute. I don't think it would look this cute on me!

Funny Isabella

Some funny things Isabella did today
- Dan picked her up to say good-bye, but he was holding his keys, so she waved bye-bye to me instead.
- Said Bella while standing at the computer because she just wants to look at pictures of herself.
- Wouldn't eat peas one day, but the next day she picked all the peas out of her rice and ate them first.
- Asked her to say Moo when she was mad and she just took her thumb out of her mouth and said 'no' and then put her thumb back in.

Elmo in the swing

Isabella put Elmo in the swing with Lachlan, but then when I took him out, she wanted to get in there with him!

Watching Sesame Street

I put on Sesame Street for Isabella and she climbed into Lachlan's Boppy! I guess she thought it was a pretty comfy place to sit.

Fridge

I grabbed a few things out of the fridge to make dinner, and in the mean time Isabella started to pull out all the condiments. Just for fun. She was a very good girl and put them all back though.

Bath Time

Isabella likes to help wash Lachlan when we bath him. She copies us and pretends to squirt soap on the washer and then says Washie Washie Washie when she washes him.

Lachlan's Car Seat

Isabella just climbed in Lachlan's car seat to hang out

Food Games

I gave Isabella some sweet potato and she takes it from me, puts it in her bowl, shuts the lid and then a second later opens the lid and acts really surprised at what she finds and then eats it. Here she is doing the same thing with the orange. Everything HAS to go in the bowl.

Sharing

Isabella's favorite toys are her puppy and her blanket that she sleeps with every night. This morning Isabella lay her blanket down beside the swing and then tried to lift Lachlan out (I had to help) and then we lay him down on the blanket and she lay down next to him. Then she grabbed a cloth and wiped his face. Sometimes I think she is treating him like her very own doll.

Bed

Yesterday Isabella said 'Bed' and promptly took herself to her bedroom and tried to climb in! I really am lucky.

Eating Hands

Funny Isabella

Funny stuff Isabella did yesterday
- Said Bella, Bella while pointing at the computer so she could see pictures of herself. Then she actually sat and watched a 30 minute slide show of pictures of just her.
- Picked up Dan's soda, said dada and then put it back down
- Said Woof, Woof every time she heard the neighbors dog bark
- Wiped Lachlan's face with his bib

Too chunky for Bumbo

Lachlan got stuck in the bumbo yesterday. At least we know he's getting enough food!

Typing

Isabella typed on her computer today. Even though it doesn't work, she was still pretending like she was a champion secretary.

Shi-Shi's

Isabella tried to put her Pink Croc's on Lachlan's feet today!

New Exersaucer

We picked up an exersaucer for Lachlan today, but I think Isabella likes it better than Lachlan.

Funny Isabella

Some funny things Isabella did today
- Got her napkin and wiped MY face
- Put my toe in her mouth
- Said Mmmm while eating bread and also while licking measuring spoons
- Called her shoes Shi-shi's
- Listened to Hey Diddle Diddle and when it came to the part where the cow jumps over the moon she let out a big MOOOOO

Gum

While Isabella was in Dan's drawer, she pulled out some packets of gum. Next thing I know, I see her fake pulling out the pellets and fake putting it in her mouth, then fake chewing it.

Daddy's Money

Since Isabella figured out how to open our drawers, she went into Dan's drawer and pulled out the good stuff.

Breakfast

Isabella and Lachlan had breakfast together this morning. Isabella offered Lachlan some orange but he wasn't interested. She just kept saying Hiiiiiii to him.

Sarah's Second Birthday Party

We went to Sarah's second birthday party in the park at Coronado today. Sarah's Mom works with Dan. Isabella enjoyed the bubbles.

Hullabaloo Concert

We watched Hullabaloo band play today! Isabella played with the castanets and maracas and rocked on with them.
