Step

The one difference I noticed between girl and boy was that Isabella steps around stuff carefully and Brady just stepped on stuff (and Isabella!)

THREE Kids

I watched Brady today for a little while so it was like having 3 babies! It was actually pretty easy. Luckily all three children are so good! It also helped that we have the playpen.

Sneaky

Isabella sometimes sneaks her blanket out of her crib and brings it to the lounge room. Today she did it and when I asked her what she was doing, she said 'sneaky'. Yes, that's usually what I say to her when I see her with it!

Rice Cereal

Lachlan loves rice cereal! Since he's now 4 months, we decided to try solids with him and he took to it really well!

Hungry

Is it time to start feeding Lachlan more food?

Rub a dub dub

Isabella and Lachlan shared a bath last night and she helped wash Lachlan. She filled the cup with water and tried to pour it over his face!

TV

Lachlan is not allowed to watch tv yet, but that doesn't stop him from trying!

Marker

Isabella was drawing with her washable marker and I find her like this. The worst part was that it was all by her ear, so now I know she tried to stick the pen in her ear!

Melon Cup

Isabella plays funny little games with herself. I was giving her some melon yesterday and she wanted to move it from the container to her bowl. I left her to it and came back and found a cup full of melon! Then she just walked around the house, casually eating it from her cup.

Sunglasses

Isabella loves to wear our sunglasses around the house. She calls them garses.
PS. Her clothes are a bit wet because she was spying on me in the shower

Pizza Crust

We had pizza on Monday night. Then yesterday morning, Isabella comes out with a pizza crust. I honestly don't know where it came from, but it was so hard. I tried to take if from her which resulted in a very dramatic display of yelling so I let her keep it and she spent about 1 1/2 hours gnawing on it. Since she's getting teeth, I guess we could think of it kind of like a teething rusk?

Scarf

Isabella went into my dresser drawer and put on a couple of scarves. I suppose living in San Diego, dress up time is the only time she'll have to wear scarves!

Teeth

I don't know if you can see it, but Isabella is getting new teeth and the drool is so bad that her elbow is actually in a puddle of it. We also mopped up the puddle 5 minutes earlier.

Chef

Isabella likes to peek in the oven when we're cooking to check on the food. Sometimes she just puts her face up against the window when we're not cooking just to check it out.

Bed time for Dolly

Isabella put her baby doll to bed...in a box. Then she tried to put the lid on her!

Walk at the beach

Lori and I took the babies for a walk at the beach on this Memorial Day holiday.

Blanket Sharing

Isabella has 2 special things - her blanket and her puppy which she sleeps with. She very generously shared her special blanket with Lachlan today.

Sneakers

Isabella put Dan's sneakers on, but they were too heavy for her to be able to walk in.

Favorite Chair

Isabella loves her chair. She sits in it to read books, watch Sesame Street or have a drink. It was the best deal because I picked it up for $4 at a nursery school sale.

Toys

Lachlan has really started playing with toys now. He can't quite sit up yet, but he really likes this toy I picked up for him.

Tea Party

I gave Isabella a tea set and she had a great time feeding tea to her dolls, bear, daddy and Lachlan.

Splash Video

Lachlan loves to splash in the bath!

Same Socks

Sharon bought Isabella some socks that rattle and since they are green, she's sharing them with Lachlan. Isabella is in the bunny ears back in April last year.

Hi Diddy

Every day Isabella goes up to Lachlan numerous times and says 'Hi diddy'. We have no idea what this means or why she says it, but its her special way of greeting him. While she's close to him, she shakes his foot and then kisses it. Lately, he's been retaliating with hair pulling and grabbing her shirt, but she doesn't mind at all. She just removes his hand from her clothing and keeps pulling his foot.
