A smoothie cooled Isabella down on this hot day! I'm thinking of sneaking in some silken tofu next time she drinks one. I'll let you know how that goes...

Lachlan made his way over to the tv and started watching some sports.
- * Now Isabella is calling the garbage truck a fire truck. Its hard to explain all the different trucks!
- * Dan flexed and told her to feel his muscle (as a joke). She grabbed his fist.
- * Isabella pretended to give Dan a raspberry and gave him a high 5 instead and ate the raspberry.
- * Isabella has watched the same episode of Sesame Street a few too many times so now Grover is not known as Grover, he is known as Super Grover.
- * She said to me 'I want that necklace' that I was wearing. We have a little princess on our hands.
Isabella loves to look at this photo book. Here she enjoys dinner with her grandparents and aunt and uncle.

Due to the extreme heat in our home, we resorted to going out to a very long early dinner in air conditioning. Isabella is such a good girl and didn't touch the noodles we gave her, she just wanted to eat fruits and vegetables. She even ate cucumber which she's turned down 10 times in the past. Ok, she did eat a tiny little slice of pizza.
I have never seen anything as funny as these little carts to push the kids to the table at the Soup Plantation. When we got to our table, they gave us high chairs and took these away.
* I may have emphasized Garbage Trucks a little too much because now that's what she calls all trucks!
* When Isabella is tired she tells me 'Puppy's waiting', because he is her favorite bed time friend.
* Isabella accidentally drew a spot of pen on my knee and was very worried. She kept saying 'Wipe, wipe.'
* Isabella woke up at 9.30 one night and called out for me. I went into her room and she asked to watch Sesame Street! I lay her right back down.
* Another night she woke up and asked for coffee!
I think I have the sweetest babies on the planet.

- * Isabella gave herself a pat on the back because I patted her back when she coughed.
- * She said to me 'I want that bag' when we went shopping. I said 'You want that bag?' and she said 'Sure'. It was a tinkerbell lunch bag.
- * I asked Isabella what she wanted to watch. Her answer: TV.
- * Isabella sings a song then yells out YAAAAAYYYYYYYYY and claps for herself.
- * Isabella heard Lachlan squeal, so she ran to check it out, but ran back to get one pistachio nut from me, then was back on her way to see Lachlan.

Isabella sat on our window sill to watch the lawn mower and told me it was her chair.
This goes to show that Lachlan isn't afraid to eat anything!
Well if Lachlan is doing it, it must be cool.

Lachlan is all ready for dinner with his bowl and his spoon. Actually, he stole the spoon and bowl from Isabella's tray!

Lachlan has decided he is no longer a thumb sucker! He had a tiny cold on Saturday, which I think made it a little bit hard to do, so he just stopped.
Am I raising a Diva?
- * Any time she drops food on the floor she brings it to me to get washed. This works for fruit and veggies....but not for muffins and cereal!
- * Isabella said 'I like this song' when a girly song came on the radio in the car yesterday.
- * Isabella likes to buckle the top of her car seat belt. But I can't watch her do it. She yells 'Shut the Door!' so she has privacy for it.
- * We know who is Isabella's favorite. We were driving home at 5pm and I knew Dan would be home from work so I asked her who is at home waiting for us and her answer was 'Puppy!'
- * When I hand Isabella something to put in the trolley when we are shopping, if she doesn't like the look of it, she reaches back to me and says 'Put it back!'

Amelia gave Isabella this whistle and she likes to walk around the house wearing it as a necklace.
Isabella is all ready to play sport with a whistle, golf club and ball (not a golf ball!). Maybe she is going to be the coach of her new game.
Luke and Lachlan lay down on their tummies for a picture. They are both going to be crawling every where soon and that will be the end of the photo shoots!

At Katie's yesterday, Isabella obsessed about these 'fancy shoes' of Katie's and insisted on wearing them for hours. The funniest part was later on when Amanda said she found the fancy shoes in a bag Isabella had been playing with. Was she trying to pack them up and take them home?
Isabella is getting creative. She used the side of the futon as a slippery slide for her baby doll.
Isabella has 2 scraped knees and if the band aid so much as unpeals on one side, she screams for me to fix it. Its like it will hurt if the band aid isn't in place.
Isabella often says to me 'Lachlan Fall' and I go in and find he's fallen over. However, I've caught her pulling him down a couple of times and then telling me 'Lachlan Fall'. I'm not really sure if he's falling or being pushed!

Lachlan has found a way to stop Isabella from sticking her foot in his face - just hold onto it!
