Funny Isabella

• * At 8.45pm I heard Isabella calling to me from her bed. I went in and saw her standing there with her puppy, blanket, water and book and she said to me 'I'm ready to watch Dora now.'
• * I told Isabella that Daddy might bring her back a present from Washington DC. She told me that she thought it would be a blue ribbon.
• * Isabella asked me to help her find her 'glass slipper.'
• * Soul Sister came on the radio and she said to me 'Hey, this is Bella's song!'
• * Isabella asked me to remove the lettuce from her cherry tomato. It was just the stalk.

Belle Shirt

Isabella also wants every one else in the house to wear the costumes too and if they don't wear them, she just carries them. She convinced Lachlan to wear the Belle top.

Isabella can not get enough of Katie's princess costumes!

Look at me!

Dan called while Isabella was playing at Seaworld and asked if she could talk to him. I handed her the phone and she ran all around the play area screaming into the phone 'Look at me Daddy! Look at me, I'm running Daddy!' After 5 minutes she brought the phone back to me and kept on running.

Escape Plan

He did try and get out the door before the ride started, but once it was underway, he squealed with delight!

Abby Ride

Now that Lachlan is practically a full time walker, we can all go on the Abby Kadabie ride at Seaworld.

Boys

At 12 months old Lachlan has had 2 blood noses, chipped 3 teeth and caused me to call poison control twice as well as consuming numerous crayons and paper. He's also jumped off his change table and our bed and when he burps he thinks it's really funny so he tries really hard to keep burping . Thank goodness we only have one boy, I don't know if I could handle the stress of two!

Painting

Isabella and Katie did a painting art project. We have already packed our apron, so Isabela wore Amanda's.

Let Me In!

Lachlan really wanted to get in the kitchen where Luke was eating. He tried to climb the gate.

Princess Costumes

The kids dressed up as Princesses at Amanda's house.

Dr Bella

Dr Isabella! She even wore some special Harry Potter glasses, to make her look older.

Dance Class

Isabella attended a dance class today! There was jazz and ballet and she did very well. She takes after mummy more than daddy when it comes to dance skills.

Paint

We tried to use Lachlan as an example of hand printing, but that didn't go too well either. We got his print on the paper, but then paint got on his good clothes and he crawled away.

Preschool Craft

Isabella was supposed to dip her hand in the paint and make handprints on the paper. But she was reluctant to do it (see video from a few weeks ago). so she painted with a paint brush and we traced around her hand instead.

Ride

Luke gave Lachlan a little ride around his house!

UNO

Lachlan wanted to play a game of Uno. He did try really hard to put some cards back in the box, before ripping the top off the box to make it easier.

Straw

Well if Isabella is having fun with a straw and a strawberry, so will I!

Strawberry straw

Isabella asked me for a straw and when I gave it to her, she stuck it in her strawberries and then sucked it out the end. This vaguely reminds me of the things I used to do as a child.

Fixing Strawberries

Isabella squished the lid of the strawberries a little and then said Oh No. I need a screwdriver to fix it.

Cool Art

Isabella did this cool art project.

Car seat

Lachlan finds it hilarious to stiffen his body as we try and buckle him into his car seat.
